To shoot & edit instructional video that can be recorded to DVD, what is the best camera & editing software? ?
What is your budget? How much are you willing to spend. If you are only going to spend like $1000 then I would get the Canon HV20, with a Rode Videomic. Then I would probably buy Sony Vegas Platinum 9, (which comes with DVD Architect 4.5 or something like that). If you have a little more to spend I would get a Canon GL2 or Canon XH-A1 or Panasonic DVX100, with a Rode NTG-2. Then buy Sony Vegas Pro 8, which comes with dvd creation software. If you want to get real fancy with your DVD you should get DVDit, google it. If you add your budget to this info I can give you a much more accurate answer.
