Can you use normal ink with photo paper?
I have a lexmark X4530.
i want to use it to print pictures, on glossy photo paper.
Lexmark makes photo paper, and they make photo ink.
can i used regular ink with glossy photo paper, or is the photo ink required in order for it to look right?
I use a canon pixma printer and the photos I print on smart price glossy paper turn out fine and it just has standard ink so your pictures should be fine. I t sounds like Lexmark are just trying to rip people off because the branded stuff is not necessarily the best. Just set your printer to the highest quality output settings.
